Freedom of speech or the recording of it , The Labour Party M P Mackey , the Courts and Learned Judge Thomas

Background

Imagine driving as a branch delegate of the local Labour Party to the venue of the Labour Electorate Committee meeting and jumping out of your Toyota 4WD, noticing the venue is in darkness and making a comment to the other waiting delegate to the Labour Electorate Committee (L E C) meeting from another branch that it would be hard to have a meeting unless the secretary turns up with the keys, agenda and the minutes Then I noticed the tears and was told the secretary had been arrested !! Didn’t take much to figure out what had happened. Quickly shot around that back of the cop shop and there through the heavily scratched perspex and the bars I could see the outline of the secretary Our secretary was audibly expressing concern as to the falsity of his detention to no avail. When I approached the front of the cop shop and told them to charge him or let him go I was succinctly told to go away

Not too many weeks later along with the now released secretary I drove a considerable distance to the regional meeting in “Gissy”. Without agendas or minutes. A reoccurring problem in the Labour Party !!!. Upon the two of us entering the meeting venue the M P announced that we were not welcome. After some discussion about police and further arrests my legitimately entitled delegated N Z Labour Party branch colleague was relegated to remain outside in the car and I was allowed to remain The meeting continued and the discussion took place around how much money each of the attendees would be expected to provide to the M P to enable the M P to get re- elected When I expressed concern as to this being a little unusual I was told that just because the boundaries of the electorate had changed it had nothing to do with the other branches and it was standard practice. I asked this to be recorded as a “Point of Order” in the minutes and was told that I might also be in receipt of a visit from the Police also. I left soon after. I could say more. It should not escape the readers attention that the M P had been in receipt of almost half a million dollars from you the taxpayer ??

Subsequently the matter, referred to in paragraph one was heard in front of Judge Thomas and the arrival of the Labour M P was eagerly awaited. We waited and waited and waited to no avail !!! Surely she would wish to be seen aiding the courts but no. As the matter proceeded I began to take notes as some of the things the learned Judge was saying were well worth recording and taking to the New Zealand Council of the New Zealand Labour Party Alas after I got up to around page 12 I noticed the Judge looking at me furtively and eventually he asked me what I was doing, I told him, he made me hand up the notes and the Registrar took them away The matter proceeded, I again began to write. This time my shopping list. The learned Judge Thomas was again keeping his eye on me but took no further action At the end of the proceeding I quickly shot to the front desk of the courthouse and tabled an Official Information Act request for copies of my notes. To my surprise I got a letter from the court approximately 9 days later saying the courts are not subject to O I Act requests and in the few minutes between my notes being confiscated and my tabling my O I A request they had unfortunately been “destroyed”.??????

Hence the opportunity to have verbatim records of this matter put before the Council of the N Z Labour Party was lost. The local media representative covering the issue in the local rag must have mixed up his notes as he failed to accurately record the proceedings or showed bias. Please remember the “right of reply” doesn’t exist anymore in New Zealand !!!!

Next time I bumped into learned Judge Thomas was in the recent matter of Mayor Anthony Bonne of the “I bought the Mayoral chains and the ratepayers paid my legal bills”, infamy, and that of a “third party”?????? Auckland readers should be paying attention here Again I commenced taking notes and again the Judge told me to stop and sought my assurance that I would destroy the notes. Hmmm? Didn’t take too many as I was sitting as a “ support person” right in front of him and realised he would spot my habit quickly. I was subsequently interviewed by the local rag. However my statement failed to make the paper No surprise there as the newspaper was a contributor to the Mayors campaign of a differing kind ???

As I have stated before I am a voter in the East Coast electorate We used to say a “swinging” voter but in the Labour Party you don’t say that anymore or one might get castigated by the “Rainbow Sector Council” members . Candidate Damien O’Connor was correct in his description of the make up of Caucus

You need to note that neither candidate Tolley nor candidate Mackey nor candidate Maclean have replied to my request to express their view as to whether or not this breaching the electoral act matter, by Mayor Anthony Bonne, who should resign, should be picked up and ran with by the Crown Law office like former National Cabinet Minister John Banks, and party colleague of candidate Tolley, encountered and was found guilty. Still he has a “watertight” defence.  To candidate Tolley haven’t heard from you about your resignation ??? First Nick Smith albeit temporarily (how does that work?) the Maurice Williamson, then candidate “crusher” Collins whom we haven’t heard much about how she proposes to clear her name, next Candidate Anne Tolley , retiring M P Tony Ryall abandoned the sinking ship, and on and on

It will come as no surprise that candidate Tolley is being investigated for using Parliamentary Services funds (your taxes) for electioneering purposes

Summary

Often documents are referred to in court, which is open to the public and statements are made that if allowed to be recorded at the time may enable either party to consider appealing the matter. It may also be in the public interest for these statements to be  accurately recorded. Are we wise to trust the media after they were exposed as “gullible” and “lazy” fools and able to be lead by the nose with corporate moneys enabling the two bloggers Mr Slater and  Nationals facilitated Mr Farrar to influence the direction of the news? If only the media are allowed to record what is said in court then this opportunity of better recording of what happens in our courts is lost. We know not to believe what is written in the paper and newspaper clippings are not admissible in court. I have watched genuine participants to the Environment Court attempt this and realise that the paper in their hands is worthless when the lawyers start laughing at them. Many hearings have no transcripts either

So I believe the public should just start turning up and start taking notes en masse and put this to the test particularly when it comes to political party and a Labour M P having their own electorate branch officials arrested

I await the views of the various parties Justice Spokesperson (No not you candidate Collins) as the local East Coast candidates have shown disdain for the voters. Come on candidate Andrew Little show the voters you have a voice. You cannot deny the assertion that it is an injustice to have a silent “Spokesperson for Justice” Show you are literate Andrew please Or are you muzzled to????

Candidate Phil Goff may well have a view also ?????????

It is of note that candidate Cunliffe champions the above described behaviour and the Labour Party caucus participants

Come on candidate Tolley has John Key muzzled you as well as Gerry Brownlee about the EQC/AMINZ Mediations here in Canterbury ???

Come on fellow Labour Party candidates you must have a voice.

Or do you take your instructions from your “rogue” and now unusually silent “campaign manager” like candidate Moana ? Lets have your view Moana and quickly otherwise voters might think you are trying to avoid the issue !!!!! You have my email address as it is near yours on the Labour Party website

NEW ZEALAND LABOUR PARTY SELWYN ELECTORATE CANDIDATE IN THE 2014 PARLIAMENTARY ELECTIONS

Authorised by Gordon John Dickson 6a Kidman Street Rolleston Canterbury New Zealand

E & O E 2/9/2014

P s No reply has been received from candidates Cunliffe and Parker LLB nor the President of the New Zealand Labour Party Moira Coatsworth re the eagerly awaited “apology” as described in an earlier posting. Come on candidates and Moira if you have nothing to hide just say so. Give leadership in this matter. Show the voters of N Z you have a voice or an opinion or display the obvious that you have no respect for the voters This will bring a more negative image to the whole New Zealand Labour Party of which you are just a small part of We have 15,000 members

How many do the Nats have ? Any one know?

I have formally asked candidate Key for Nationals formalised statements on our nations need for a constitution but if you cup your hands you can read his reply

Law and Order Disappearing under National & under your watch candidate Tolley

Law and Order Disappearing under National & under your watch candidate Tolley

To Nationals East Coast candidate Tolley and Labours candidate Moana Mackey

From my environmental and voter perspective and in relation to the publically owned Maraetotara Reserve in Ohope Beach vested in Council just like Reserves are all over New Zealand including the Selwyn electorate. Twice recently I have placed, and paid for, advertisements in the Public Notices of the Whakatane Beacon asking for the OHOPE LIONS CLUB INTERNATIONAL (Possibly) INCORPORATED to advise me and the general public which legal firm represents them. To date no reply whatsoever. Begs the questions are they still represented by the same lawyer as before and why they would want legal representation in the first place? Further begs the question as to what it is in the psychological make up that attracts members of candidate Tolley’s National Party local members to the Lions Clubs and vice versa. So to candidate Tolley and retiring Cabinet Minister Tony Ryall please tell the public and voters how many and on how many occasions have the members of your local National Party members in both Whakatane and Ohope Beach been required to give formal statements to the New Zealand Police in Whakatane. Of the Ohope Beach Lions Club International I ask the same. Candidate Tolley perhaps you could have your local branch members make them available to you and email them to me, candidate David Cunliffe and candidate John Key. I would of course make each and every one of them available to the public .

The question I have of the entire gang of Lions Clubs throughout New Zealand if this matter goes to court and the evidence is stacking up against you, will your membership underwrite, formally, any and all costs incurred by the ratepayers and taxpayers  of New Zealand ? Please remember there is an American component here as well and American lawyers are not inexpensive This could cost millions of dollars. Why should the taxpayer and ratepayer stump up for your inability to reign in an atrociously performing part of your supposed organisation. This has been like this for long enough and this rotten apple in your barrel shows the public the truth about what has happened to the rest of the barrel

When the Ohope Beach branch of the Lions Club International Incorporated failed to answer straight forward twice asked public questions, I formally tried the head office in New Zealand to no avail. Then onto the supposed parent body in Illinois, USA and there is this distinct silence when the Police become involved. I even tried candidate Keys golfing buddy Barrack. Would you like to see his reply? Candidate Tolley please go to the Whakatane Police Station with your local branch membership list, to aid the process, and make an Official Information Act request for the National Party members formal statements which the whole of New Zealand knows can be achieved in 37 minutes like a National Party aligned blogger can get. Being an obvious supporter of former cabinet colleague candidate Collins and the current Minister of Police you should be able to get an Official Information Act request fulfilled in less than 37 minutes. From my East Coast voter perspective I think the Prime Minister should accept your resignation to give you a chance to clear your name like your fellow candidate Collins.

For balance

What do you think fellow candidate Moana Mackey ? Cat got your tongue too like your now outed and accepted “rogue campaign manager” Anne Collins and former Labour Party Member of Parliament, my fellow Eastern Bay of Plenty Branch member, my fellow Labour Electorate Committee member and current Chairperson whom currently is experiencing literacy problems of convenience, as she has been asked formally via the Eastern Bay of Plenty Branch to repeat her statements of 10/6/2014. This request to my own branch was disappointedly not actioned by my own branch but “forwarded to the L E C Secretary” “phillippa braithwate” of the East Coast Labour Electorate Committee as far back as 26 July 2014. No minutes forthcoming at all ?? Come on fellow candidate Moana Mackey make a public statement or are you muzzled like the National Party’s Board of Directors ? So you want half a million bucks of taxpayers money and don’t want to make public statements before the election begs the question what you will be like after the election. Doubly muzzled? Image if candidate David Cunliffe was considering you for a cabinet post ?? From where I sit as a voter in the East Coast electorate you want the money without the accountability. The annual Conference of the Labour Party next year will be very very interesting

In my time as the then named Whakatane Branch Secretary (now named Eastern Bay of Plenty) all members of the branch and the Labour Electorate Committee were entitled to agendas and minutes but not anymore? The two Davids “DC” and “DP” have been formally asked to get these minutes but this ongoing literacy problem of convenience continues with this demonstrably improvable pair of my fellow New Zealand Party candidates It is a sad day in the history of the Labour Party when minutes are withheld from financial members is it not?

Additionally Deputy Leader of the New Zealand Labour Party we have uncompleted emails about “insurance” policy “Limitations” The people of Christchurch expect you to help them not maintain a code of silence.

The whole group of the senior M Ps were told about this forthcoming blog and sat on their hands. They cannot even use the reply button on their computers Isn’t that right Phil x 2, Annette, Grant, David S, Carole, Jacinda, 16 in total. Then my fellow candidate David Cunliffe publically states on 3 September 2014 “Labour will strengthen democracy” The entire NZ Council of the New Zealand Labour Party should be active here but I think they all must be asleep somewhere. I would like to have talked to this senior group of candidates but we have two groups of candidates within this campaign. No one actually knows whom exactly whom is actually in which? I did ask formally for this discerning practice to stop and for all candidates to be treated evenly. The formal reply was improvable to say the least

Additionally and formally candidate Mackey was asked to go to the “Rotorua Police Station” to assist the Police with their enquiries. For clarity an Official Information Act request upon which her name appears. Have you done that yet Labour candidate Mackey ? Official Information Act “Ref 14/5732” dated “Tuesday, 9 September 2014” The request is dated “07/07/2014”

“Apology”?????

This word “apology’’ comes up in correspondence to me from Moira Coatsworth President of the Council of the New Zealand Labour Party, dated 4/9/2014, plus there are some other relevant naming emails that exist but my lawyer in Central Otago knows to ring me when this “formal apology” arrives. Perhaps Davids x 2 and President Coatsworth could tell me and the New Zealand voters from whom this “apology” is vastly overdue from? . Lets avoid the possibility of it being another possible cabinet appointment. Time is of the essence and you will now surely be wishing it had been sent when it was first formally raised in my letter by email and by hand to candidate Cunliffe and by hand to President Coatsworth at the St Asaph Street breakfeast for candidate Cunliffe at which I sat with my back to the wall. Prevention is better than cure. Again many of the senior M P’s and candidates know about this “formal apology”

So you can see there is a distinct lack of law & order in our political gangs as well as in the Lions gang. There has been some flesh and blood spilt here on the Maraetotara Reserve and candidate Tolley can “watch” it at her leisure from her front window and applaud. I know because it was my flesh and blood People can be very brave with sharpened implements

I have had an appointment with retiring National M P Tony Ryall at which he simply advised he would not help when he realised his fellow local National Party members were involved

To candidate Tolley I await your resignation to give you time to clear your name, like fellow cabinet minister and still candidate Judith Collins and produce the formalised statements of your and M P Tony Ryalls fellow National Party members required of them by the N Z Police

Candidate for National John Key “Dirty Politics” and the “gullible” “lazy” New Zealand media

Candidate for National John Key “Dirty Politics” and the “gullible” “lazy” New Zealand media 11/9/2014 Blog # 8

If there is nothing else you do as an eligible voter before voting please read chapters 11, 12 and the Afterwood of the book “Dirty Politics” by Nicky Hager and you will see for all time the candidate John Key, his Prime Ministers office staffer Jason Ede, candidate Judith Collins and the Farrar/ Slater blogger connection. Essentially in my political view big business have poured millions of dollars into a campaign via a blogging system to ensure the public/voters are feed excreta to ensure that you dont vote!!!!!!!!! Think about it please From this National cannot ever escape the conclusion they have lost respect for the citizens of N Z. i. e. The right to exercise the VOTE. By sitting home between now and the closing of the polls on Election Day N Z’ers will be seen by the young and future generations as being accepting of this exposed attempt by the National Party. Voter apathy is not the answer. Is it too much to expect the voters to walk down to the local hall or school and vote every three years? A non-vote is a Nat vote in my political opinion

. The “lazy” “gullible” media swallowed this excreta and feed it to you in spades and many of you believed it. I never believe what is written in the newspaper do you ? Well you shouldn’t I assure you Don’t condone the National Party’s actions! Where are the comments by the National Party’s Board of Directors Peter et al ? Muzzled ? Surely this is not allowed by Nationals Constitution or is it ? Why are the media not asking these Board Members ? Lazy in my view. I wrote to Nationals Board about candidate Collins and if you cup your hands you can read the reply

Also the names candidate ‘’Anne Tolley”,page 42, retiring cabinet Minister “Tony Ryall”, page 131, and candidate “Amy Juliet Adams”, LLB, page 48 & 49, feature in the book too. I have the pleasure of contesting the Selwyn seat against Nationals candidate Adams. To candidate Tolley and candidate Adams, John Key has been formally, email and fast post, been repeatedly asked if he has confidence in you two cabinet Ministers. As I haven’t heard from John I assume he has not. I agree with John The Minister of Police has been asleep at the wheel of the Police Portfolio for far too long. As to candidate Adams the filthy polluted rivers speak for themselves. I am still trying to get to the bottom of possible conflicts of interest candidate Adams. The public doesn’t want any more candidate Collins “Aravida” examples. Perhaps you could reassure the Selwyn voters you have none please candidate Amy.

I can confirm that I asked another “gullible” media representative at our Labour Congress in early July to ask the Prime Minister if he had confidence in the Ministers of Police Anne Tolley and get back to me. He looked remarkably like Barry Soper of Newstalk Z B but he failed to do so. Why? Perhaps another “lazy” and “gullible” media representative ?

As we can see by candidate Tolleys former party member and former National cabinet Minister John Banks guilty verdict in the Auckland court, it took a member of the public to get the prosecution completed. Shame on you candidate Tolley. That is the Police role in society to prosecute offences not the publics. How can the officers of the N Z Constabulary have confidence in yet another candidate Collins like incompetent Cabinet Minister? In short they don’t. We know another former cabinet Minister Maurice Williamson can ring up the Police and then has to resign How many Ministers is that to go now?

To my knowledge there have been over 113 complaints relating to breaches of the Electoral Act and candidate Tolley sits there, takes the millions and watches democracy fall away on her supposed watch. (More on this) Perhaps she could tell us voters what she knows about the Farrar/ Slater blogs and their National Party sources. Just asking candidate Tolley. I know of three partial Police nvestigations carried out in her neck of the woods, Ohope Beach in the Bay of Plenty where I also have to a vote and must choose from Labours Mackey, Nationals Tolley, Greens Maclean et al Tough choice presently as you will see below

As I have said I have a vote in the East Coast electorate. I challenge all candidates to formally provide me with your view on the recent court case involving Mayor Anthony Bonne and whether or not the Crown Law office should pick up and pursue this like they did with former National Party cabinet Minister Banks Is it a criminal offence? What do you think please candidates? See the Labour Party Candidates website for my email address

In particular why were the ratepayers forced to pay for candidate Anthony Bonnes legal fees, as a candidate he was the one who “overspent” and I believe at this time the ratepayers also paid the legal fees for the third party ????? to the action in the Whakatane District Court in front of Judge Thomas (with whom I am acquainted). More to come on this your Honour. This was in right in front of the Minister Tolley who will trot out the old “It’s an Operational matter” One or two breaches not over 110 candidate Tolley. No, not at the moment “candidate Tolley”. My view is you can buy the Mayoral chains and the then Minister will sit and endorse it by her exposed lack commitment to the N Z democratic system. Labour will restore democracy

What is apparent is that the media have been found out not to know the difference between fact and fiction. That can only reflect upon their intelligence or training. Of note is the closeness of TV3’s “Patrick Gower” along with Judith Collins to blogger Slater. It comes as no surprise. Brings into question T V 3 & “Campbell live” Also this programme was also formally and by hand asked to ask questions of candidate Key?????? Are the media afraid of candidate Key?

“gullible’ quote from Paul Henry whom also get a mention in the book???

‘’lazy” quote from my unanswered “grow a pair” email to Radio Live, that candidate Cunliffe has unwisely commented but his “apology” is expected sooner rather than later David. You have been formally asked to apologise for your “personal” comments on T V last Saturday evening in my last unanswered letter to you, David Cunliffe, David Parker, LLB, and all my fellow N Z Labour Party candidates. Cat got your tongues fellow candidates ??

To my leaders David Cunliffe and David Parker if you want to play Dirty Politics? I’m in. Tell the public and voters what you know about the “rogue campaign manager” for my fellow candidate Moana Mackey. Please candidates Cunliffe and Parker LLB. This correspondence by email and hard copy started months ago!

I await the requested replies and the ‘’apology”

More to come and if you have finished the book “Dirty Politics” about the John Key and the “Dirty Politics” National Party, please pass it on Get out and vote

Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Part 2

Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Part 2 10/9/2014 0830

Arbitrators & Mediators Institute of New Zealand response to the “Kirwee Example”

To be read in conjunction with my post below dated 29 August 2014 titled

“EQC & AMINZ Mediations paid for by the Earthquake Commission”

In the next paragraph is the response from the Arbitrators and Mediators Institute of New Zealand (AMINZ) to my below post re the worth or otherwise of an EQC paid (tax payer money) for Mediation not being honoured by EQC. Essentially the Institute completely fails to address part two of my blog (titled above) re EQC paying for a mediation by a member of their own (and mine) institute (AMINZ)and reaching a formalised settlement agreement. Then EQC wont honour it? This forces the customer to have to take legal action at huge expense (lawyers are not inexpensive) to enforce the mediation agreement. It may well finish up costing more for the legal battle than to repair the “Kirwee” dwelling

“Dear Mr Dickson

Council convened on 22 August. Included in the matters it considered was your correspondence.

Council has asked me to convey to you that Councillors received and read all your correspondence and Council discussed the issues you raised extensively. It has asked me to advise you that access to mediation is governed by EQC. The appointment of mediators to the Mediation Panel is governed by AMINZ.

Yours sincerely

Deborah Hart LLB”

65 words and 20 of relevance Not good enough in my view sirs

I have received no response or assistance from the National Party’s candidate and Minister of Earthquake Recovery Candidate Gerry Brownlee nor disappointingly Labours newly appointed Earthquake Recovery spokesperson List M P and my fellow New Zealand Labour Party Candidate Clayton Cosgrove. So to the pair of you please prove you are both literate and send your responses to me at gordon.dickson@labour.org.nz For the pair of you to fail to do so would enable the voters to consider your commitment or otherwise to the Canterbury earthquake victims. If you have no comments before the election to enable the voters to judge whether to vote for you or not it begs the question what would you be like after the election? Come on fellow candidates I have two votes myself Please show respect to that and to the people of Canterbury

I have just discovered we have a new Arbitrators and Mediators Institute President Wellington Barrister David Patten LLB and Vice President Auckland Barrister John Walton LLB, both “prominent” Barristers whom I implore to comment in more detail than the above 20 words of no real relevance response by the Executive officer Deborah Hart, LLB. What is the point of going to institute facilitated mediation when EQC can sign up and then back away with from supplying the monies reasonably envisaged to be the purpose of the mediation agreement in the first place ???

To the recipients of the “Kirwee example” EQC mediation I apologise on behalf of my fellow institute members whom I am sure will want to discuss this next week at our AMINZ function I am myself committed to the earthquake recovery as I trust you can see from above Please may I have your vote and anyone not enrolled please do so by phoning 0800 36 76 56 or by going online and downloading the enrolment form www.elections.org.nz) Value the vote Remember this is the only region in New Zealand where you don’t get a Regional Council vote. A
continued position promoted by my fellow candidate Mrs Amy Adams LLB. Labour will change that. This region is best aligned with the voting abilities of the balance of New Zealand don’t you think ???

There are a lot of “LLB’’’s in this ????

Dear Peter,

URGENT URGENT URGENT

Thank you for the opportunity of attending yesterday’s lunch time meeting and hearing my party leader M P David Cunliffe.

I have been informed that today you will be hosting the National Party Candidate  J Key at Addington.

As I am not invited I took the precaution of asking your staff person whom asked questions of David about the “90 day” rule, a Leeann Watson, I believe, to ensure that John Key was asked in the light of the resignation of the Minister of Justice Judith Collins if he still has confidence in the Minister of Police Mrs Anne Tolley, also candidate for the East Coast electorate against Labours candidate and current list M P Moana Mackey.

Please ensure you do so without fail or formerly advise me of the reasons for your failure to do so.

To fail to do this may well bring the Association into disrepute Peter and the voters may come to consider the Association is showing political bias. Something I am sure at this time your membership will wish to avoid.

There will be attendees including media representatives today whom know you will have been asked to ask this very very basic question of the National Party leader and candidate given one Cabinet Minister has resigned already so far.

I note yesterday a gentleman whom introduced himself as a candidate for the National Party was present and he was also asked to ask this question of the National Party leader John Key today.

Please ensure me that a candidate for the N Z Labour Party has also been invited to today’s event to ensure balance in your Associations actions and advise me whom he or she is please.

Of Leeann I ask her to repeat her question of David so I can pass it on for comment by our spokesperson on employment. I did ask her to join me publically and repeat her statement about the 90 day rule and about the worth of the Associations espoused views but she declined from which the voters can conclude the association may or may not support her contentions which from my experience are very very misleading. Sad to see your employees lacking the courage of their convictions.

I await your acknowledgement and confirmation that the very basis question will be asked of the Prime Minister.

For clarity “Does the Prime Minister still have confidence in his Cabinet Minister of Police, National Party candidate for East Coast Electorate, current M P, Mrs Anne Tolley of Ohope Beach in the Bay of Plenty and if not why not?”

Thanks again for the invitation yesterday, the lunch and splendid coffee Peter.
